For my suggestion, let me first pose this situation:

I have 20 Sheepskins, but I'm at a high level in leatherworking. Crafting out each sheepskin will give me negligible returns, and be a waste of time. But I'd still like to use the sheep leather for my other, lower level crafts. And there happens to be none on the market.

In the current system, I could use Hasty Hand, but I still have to manually select it at the start of each synth, or waste valuable time.

I propose that Hasty Hand allow for Batch Synthing. You select the recipe, and alongside the options to 'Begin' and 'Cancel', there would be a third for 'Hasty Hand'. It would allow you to process all the items in one quick synth at the same penalized EXP/synth.

This would solve the issue of unused low level items clogging up your inventory, without putting them to waste. It also meets the players demanding Batch Synthing halfway. The Devs can still work with their idea of a balanced crafting system. Players can enjoy achieving high level more, because they can strike through a whole bunch of items that they used to have to synth on an individual basis (much like a high level DoW/M could mow through a low-level group of monsters). The trade-off would be that there would be no HQ's, and the exp gain would be next to nothing.

And if you reply to this saying something like, "Or you could just do away with the crafting mini-game altogether" or "Or you could just allow Batch Synthing altogether", I'ma hurt you. If SE wanted it this way, they would've done it a long time ago.

I believe that my suggestion is something that they would at least consider.
