Ignore current levelling system, its fine. Make content please.
And it's easy enough to level up the crafting classes up to 20. Also, I never declined someone who asked me to craft some low-level gear for them (I often do it free too!). Also, making low level gear does not bring a lot of gil as you have to sell them at low price for the new players to afford them. I prefer to sell other things that bring me more gil and give away the low level equipment.
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
heres my 3 pennies and a nickle... Plevel only exists b/c of 2 things, ignorance and bad coding. this is that whole wow mentality being transfered over subliminally through the internet into every MMO out there. 12 million idiots play wow and as a result, blizzard has made every other mmo have to cater that "i want my crap now or i quit!" mentality. so dont just blame 1 or 2 players and dont blame SE. you need to blame american society and blizzard and SE. actually come to think of it.. mostly just american society
I would like the issue fixed and there to be content to last levelling 7 combat classes along with DoL/H. Enjoyable working design and mob levels/camps that aren't scattered randomly but that isn't going to happen any time soon as demonstrated by recent patches. Stealth for DoL was the biggest design cop-out I've seen instead of just fixing the limited areas/sub sections we get to gather in.
Majority seem to enjoy bandaid fixes that don't truly change anything. Pretty much demonstrated by the hostility towards improvements because "I did it this way, so should everyone else.". Good start would be making leves available from the camp they get turned in at and not having DoH leves completely random.

I've declined in playing because I have a strong dislike for bad game design which this game is full of.

Right. At least with how XI worked, you still had to do something in the party to earn the exp.Fully agree. I am starting to leave parties that have Pls. I don't mind the XI form of PLs where someone stands outside and heals, but I absolutely refuse to stand there and do nothing. I play FFXIV for enjoyment (Yes, it can actually be pretty fun) but I can't enjoy the game sitting on the sidelines getting free exp. A lot of people say it's a ticket into the "fun part."
Well I want to earn that ticket. I don't want it to be handed to me.
Though after 1.19a PLing isn't so bad anymore. It still does exist but I will still avoid it.
1. He did leave the party. If you do not like it you should have left the party. Stop killing fun for others.. I have 4 jobs at cap and if i want to help a friend or get help i should be able to. And OF COURSE you say ff11 did it right you and almost everyone esle thinks f11 did no wrong.... it sickens me.

2. He was the one that took his time to both form and manage the party to begin with.
Not really American society per-se... but to be precise, there's two specific generations in America that should be held accountable for the "I want everything now" mentality: the baby boomers and Generation Y (I don't even think Generation X was this bad). American society once-upon-a-time was at least about working hard and intelligently, anyways.heres my 3 pennies and a nickle... Thought you did a nice job of stating your opinion. I personally like the way things are but can also understand your frustration. I'm guessing the masses also are fine with the current set-up. As party leader you could alweys tell people your guidelines up front, that might help.
I think the lack of lower level gear in wards is due in part to two additonal things:
1. Most people dont buy it because its not great for turning into Materia - maybe they could give a small chance for tier IV materia from 30s gear? This would increase demand.
2. Most people don't craft it. A crafter can't make very much gil on low level equipment. Also the majority of crafters are either high level (at this point), NPCing, or have friends that can make. I think once more people are playing this would not be an issue.
