But what is the point of selling low rank gear? Oh, it dawned on me. This is another effect. Sure, this is only one example and it may have been a coincidence, but it sure does add to my frustration.

A bigger aspect of this is that there aren't players coming into the game so there is a small market for this. Additionally, each bazaar space is very valuable, so making those items costs a merchant a bigger chunk of profit on another item.

I power levelled 1-37 on lancer in a couple hours, its about 45% of the levelling curve. I joined a PT and to my shock I was able to press 2-3-4 followed by either 6 or 7 or 8, I was under the impression I couldn't do this without levelling legit, so therefore I have declared myself super human.

Pssh, I doubt you can compare to the amazing game skills I learned slaughtering doblyns for 20SP each. I attribute all my endgame successes to mindlessly running laps around Copperbell Mines using upwards of TWO different abilities.

You all need to learn to use your chocobos to round up enemies instead of PLing. Its just about as fast anyway. All it takes is two MRD (although one will do in a pinch) and two people on chocoback grabbing aggro from everything in site, and of course a healer.

Another thought.. does it really matter? In the long run we are what, 10% of the player base of the future? 5%? 1%? I hope the last. For someone new to the game are they really going to know enough people that are willing to PL them right from the start?

On Lindblum, slowly there are more shouts for power-level parties. I won't lie, I participated in one and it was boring as hell. And very slow. I stick to my raptor and leves from now on.

power leveler isnt that much better than an optimal party, in fact it may be the same.

due to cap on exp, the requirement of some non high level to run in and survive hate, and enough party members close enough when you pull to get links, and respawn timers....

You don't need 8-person parties, either. I've done a few 4-man parties with my LS and it's still amazing XP and a lot of fun. You can't do it at all levels but most of the time you have multiple options for camps in case you can't get a full party together.

I help PL members when they are in a leveling slump (there's a few low and mid level ranges that are just awful in regards to camps) and try to help out those that can only play on weekends to get them caught up ASAP. It's very useful and it will be nice to be able to help my brother and sister out once the ps3 version arrives.
