Max stats on all caster weapons (all weapons in fact) were the same for previous relic, so i was assuming it was the same this time around.

However, i am more than happy if i turn out to be wrong.

I get what you're saying. However, I don't know why they would actually force you to lose stats by upgrading your relic further. All three healer relics already have +123 Piety. You would think the new upgrade would allow you to go higher than the current number.

Non-healer Novus relics had a cap of 23 piety, while healer Novus relics had a cap of 33 piety.

Healer stats are all down to personal choice and how your raid functions (with the exception of sch which is pretty set in stone).

The way my current raid deals with the interaction of AST/SCH, piety can be of great use to me.

I'm just pointing out that the healer anima relic will likely have more piety, instead of the 88 points that you mentioned in a previous post.
