Don't really know what to tell you...sorry you feel that way.Still it's really sad, I even played a lot the free trial and decided to buy it because the archer class was everything I was looking for on an MMO and now I'm a caster, don't even feel like logging in right now. To make things worse I just bought the expansion 2 days ago on Steam and can't even refund.
You can still run and shoot if you really feel the need, you just have to learn to stutter step. Also, some other stuff I already mentioned in this thread.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
Lotta people felt and still feel (with ya brudda) that way. WHOO! It sucks, but you missed the worst of it. They've ironed it out pretty good but it can still be a janky mess. In the end you either learn to tolerate it or move on. I for one ended up learning MNK out of the fiasco. I like it, you get some nice movement and flow that pre-3.0 BRD had, sucks you gotta be melee, but whatevs. Still play BRD mostly because I worked my ass pimping it out in the past, and in the end its still a good dps with a solid enough kit. Keep at it for a bit and maybe you'll grow into it. If not, I'm tellin ya MNK is the way to go. It's good stuff, and not a DRG. :VStill it's really sad, I even played a lot the free trial and decided to buy it because the archer class was everything I was looking for on an MMO and now I'm a caster, don't even feel like logging in right now.
