    Well, I try posting into this thread, even though I doubt something will be made before 2.0...


    1) User Environment
    1. – Operation System: Win7, 64bit
    2. - Antivirus program: None
    3. – Internet Service Provider: Local Italian Wi-Fi Provider
    2) Exact Error Message: (30002)1323613036,22436132,5
    3) Frequency of 30002 Error: Every 2-5 mins.
    4) What area were you in when the error occurred: Anywhere. Ul'dah, Choertas, Tanalan, Market Wards
    5) What were you doing when the error occurred: Crafting, Farming, Chatting...
    6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred: Mostly Not
    7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error: Don't Know
    8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error: After many tries, yes.


    Please stick this or other thread on top page, so to make one official topic for this issue, which seems to be a huge problem for many.

    Is there anyway to test our connection to see if it is also a problem on our end?


    The issue started happening so often (was rarely happening before) yesterday December 10th 2011

    I am having the same problem. 7 disconnects today, 4 in the span of 10 mins.

    1) User Environment
    1. – Operating System? Win7 x64
    2. - Antivirus program? AvG deactivated
    3. – Internet Service Provider? Verizon
    2) Exact Error Message No Error Displayed
    3) Frequency of 30002 Error?
    4) What area were you in when the error occurred? Varies from Ul'dah to Gridania
    5) What were you doing when the error occurred? Gear swap and inventory navigation
    6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? no
    7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error? 1-10
    8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error? yes

    it seems like the server refuses to catch up with the client (or allow the client to catch up), if any data is lost the game assumes you have disconnected and boots you prematurely

    Agreed. I'm on an internet now that randomly gets slow but doesn't fully disconnect, and every time this happens the game boots me. I can't play for more than 15-30 minutes now ; ;.

    It is so bad not to have any official reply from the S-E team on this subject....

    Just tell us that our connection is too bad for playing the game so we can just give up hope and move on to somewhere else, but SPEAK lol

    Yesterday I had a veeeeery smooth play. Just one or two disconnects in 4 or so hours of play time.

    I was so happy. Wander if they changed something.

    Another thing that I noticed is that windows alerted me that some updates were downloaded and that it was possible to restart the PC in order to install them. Could it be that my PC has been downloading the above during the last week and that it stole bandwidth? Really hope it was that. I'll see today.

    3) Frequency of 30002 Error? As often as every 15 minutes, can be spaced out longer.
    4) What area were you in when the error occurred? Happened in multiple areas. Cities, dungeons, fields.
    5) What were you doing when the error occurred? (What type of actions, movements, etc) Crafting, running around, doing guild leves, searching Market Wards.
    6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? (Please provide number of party members if you were in a party) Sometimes, with as few as 1 other member, and as many as 7 other members.
    7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error? Depends, I'd say about 30+ when in towns, 0 when running around in the field.
    8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error? After about 30 seconds, yes.

    I'm not going to bother posting the list others are. Ever since this update of 1.20 I have had this disconnect more than 5 times in one day. Used to be maybe 1-2 times a month. Something is seriously broken with this update.
