    Chat, allow to use /say or /shout chat when you are dead

    Please as title says.

    tell devs if they could allow to use /say or /shout chat when you are dead. Because this way people could shout for raise and party next to could hear and help.

    If everyone is wiped, we need to return to our home points. Sometime that is city and party is over.

    It's immersion. You can't "talk" dead. ^^ IMO it's fair enough you only being able to talk in LS or party while dead.

    true immersion would mean no raise even exists for someone "dead", no chat of any kind, so its kind of a weak reply.

    i see no harm in allowing say or shout for some help. none whatsoever.
    ppl can stil choose to help or not, it was like that in 11 too. at least ease up on the ability to actually ask.

    /agree op.

    I think it's fine this way. It would be creepy if a dead corpse can talk or shout.

    When it comes to asking for raise, I have to use /tell to the nearest person or the person whose name I remember to be in the area.

    And yeah I am glad enough I can still talk in LS and change LS to look for an available rescue.

    in FFXI we used to ask friends/LS mates for a zone scan for a WHM/RDM that would be able to raise us.
    since patch 1.20 there will be possibility to search for the player. i hope it will at least look like in FFXI.
    so +1 to this:

    By the definition of FFXI and FFXIV, when you're defeated by an enemy, you're only temporarily incapacitated, not dead. Hence, people are able to revive you.

    Also, a quote from "The Ca of Adventure" tome in the game;

    In the event your hit points (HP) fall to 0, you will lose consciousness and be unable to act. At this time, you have one of two options―either wait for a passerby to resurrect you with magic, or return to the last aetheryte (or aetherial gate) to which you attuned. To return, select the Return option from the main menu.
    I suppose the "unable to act" in the tome also includes the ability to shout or say in public chat. Which, for me, seems fair enough, provided that we can still bug other people via /tell, /party, and /linkshell.
