Being rich is overrated.
Being rich is overrated.
Well I dunno about infinite, but my Gil currency is OVER 9000!!!!
Sorry, couldn't resist.
I heard theres a guy from my old fc trying to hit the max gil limit, hes at something lik 645 million gil last time i checked.
" A dev sees this and implements this at 4.0" GJ you killed my wallet you monsterIf devs want to deal with the excess gil in the game... I have come up with a solution!
There you go summoners! Enjoy your new summon! :P It would take "paid run" to a whole new level and cut out the middleman lol....
(For those that never played FFX, Yojimbo was a summon that did jack unless you paid him. If you paid him enough him was incredibly strong. If you were cheap then just slaps the enemy lightly and leaves.)
I'm kidding about actually adding Yojimbo btw... :P![]()
Maybe also the ability to rack up frequent flyer miles. For every _1000__ yalms traveled, you get one free teleport. That'd be cool. :]
If you can pay a roe to go with a fro then you have plenty of gil
I think I spent like 300 mil that weekend/3 days on minion, house, vanity and random stuff like housing item. Lol, I could but I rather not. You know how I obtain my gil, because we are on same server haha.
I do "midcore" crafting.
That mean right now, simply restock my retainers once or twice a week depending on my mood, and also not being constantly undercutting, that with all crafters at 60 with the starting high end gear (i150 melded). I make usually 6 to 7 millions weekly, that on an average week, sadly for my server the last weeks of the patch have really hurt my sellings so has went down to 3-4 millions weekly. Unless i spent in some serious gearing or anything, i basically have infinite money since there is no way, i can spend that much gil on the "character maintenance" weekly. Repairs, teleports, a minion or two...
Basically all you need to have infinite gil is to level 1 crafter. After having let say, 10 million gil, gil itself stops being a "resource" and becomes more of a "score". Its irrelevant, you just want to see it go up.
Way too variable to say - it depends on what sort of things you would want to buy from the MB. If you just hop on random DF things and aren't into glamour, I imagine even 1m would be overkill. Repairs and teleports aren't that much, and food/pots aren't really necessary outside of savage.
The real answer is to learn how to get anything you want without using gil.
Once you do that gil becomes a self sustaining resource fueled by your ability to make money from your characters abilities and time.
Having x amount of gil does nothing but give you a bankruptcy timer.
