Aww I like the Eorzean font...
But honestly it's not like the game is written in that font...now THAT I could understand having some complaints thrown at it. The current font is about as hard to read as any other sans serif font (not).

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
The only gripe I have about the text in this game is that the dialogue bubbles are friggin small on my screen and I don't know of any way to make them "larger" without reducing the screen resolution. It's strange how they made almost every other UI element adjustable in size but not that one.
I like it too! It's supposed to look like a language from another world, not our own. Still, being able to be read by us is awesome, I think they did a really good job on it. They could have opted to make up a bunch of random squigglies with no rhyme or reason.
The Eorzean font isn't too hard to read, it's not even a substitution cypher but just a stylized script with a couple of letters reversed or altered. As Vespar said, it's part of the worldbuilding of the game.
Personally I far prefer the Eorzean script over the horrible Cocoon/Pulse scripts in FFXIII as they truly were totally unreadable without a key (that was included with the strategy guide book no less!), no wonder SE just scrapped the whole thing and went with Roman letters/English for signs and the like in Lightning Returns as it was just too unwieldy by that stage.
I disturbed with that child picture. And I still don't understand with that guy suddenly flashed or something. Are you using gaelicatnip?
If it's about Eorzean alphabet, I don't have problem with it.
