Keep in mind you may have 100+ members but what are you guys doing all day? I know in more of the lvl 60 FCs i've been in most people just stand around all day in the yard ( if you are lucky enough for a house ), maybe run some roulettes and log off... thats not active. You alone cannot rack up those points.

If they're not 60 yet that means they're doing story which racks up more points than anything else in the game. They have to be incredibly active to catch up in the game.

My first post says we hardly afk and are always active, we don't stand around we have a method that works well.. Gathers gather for crafter's, crafter's make gear/food/pots for raiders/crafter's & gatherers and raiders carry gatherers and crafter's and any other member that needs a carry within the guild. It goes full circle and works extremely well.

Sadly I don't ever see anything really done. I see the same bots running around endlessly for months. Then they'll be gone for a week.. then back with a tweaked name. ( leads me to believe they're selling the account once it hits a max level, or that they got caught and got a new account )

They could be 1 of SOOO many things. Gil farmers, account sellers, FC sellers....

It's not that the FFXIV team doesn't care.. but we've heard time and time again they do not have enough staff to handle everything they'd like to do ( and i'm sure this includes GMs for bot management and harassment reports ). SE leaves FFXIV severely understaffed, it's pretty clear FFXIV is a cash cow for them to make their other projects. I wish it wasn't true but.. oh whale

From what I've been told, with less members on at a time the more the stuff you do is worth.
Member count doesn't give a significant boost to your credits earned.

Haven't really tested it myself though, it's hard to know when many people will log out sometimes lol!

This is true. The less people you have on the more points you get for things.

If you're on solo, you get double everything.

This is true. FC with lower, but highly active number of players will outpace, if not equal larger FCs. It's SE's way of allowing small FCs to compete with large FCs. Higher rankings allow you access to FC benefits, SE doesn't want to lock out smaller family-oriented guilds from it. Although in a sense, it also gives incentive for certain wealthy crafters and players to own their own FC.

They're not talking about rank 1-8 that give access to housing, FC buffs, etc.

They are talking about server FC rankings, listing which FC got the most FC points last week/month for the server.
