Edda is back in Deep Dungeon! No one can deny, it must be Edda! Even her little pet look like the small version of Tam Tara HMs last Boss.
I m pretty excited! My favorite storyline continues! : D

The music that plays in the Palace of the Dead in the 3.3 trailer is a rearrangement of the Tam Tara DeepCroft (HM) sub-boss theme. It's been used in other scenarios before, but it's become somewhat associated with Edda and Avere.
I kinda want to go search for the (extremely) old conversations about Edda when Tam Tara Hard came out...but I'm no necromancerSo for her to do a complete 360 into practicing necromancy and summoning undead and voidsent to bring Avare back to life... something seems off about this whole situation. And we already know the Ascians appear to the downtrodden and outcasts of society with promises of making that person more powerful. It's a good a guess as any.
Was something about how she accidentally summoned a voidsent (think maybe trying to call on an elemental or such) and then things went downhill from there...
Well, I went back through my old screenshots and finally found my screenshots from my first Tam Tara HM run, including all the 'torn folios' throughout... and... there doesn't seem to be any mention about when or how Edda first began her slide into insanity... only that it was her last meeting with us that set off that initial 'spark' in her to try to bring Avare back to life, and that it appears she succeeded in summoning the voidsent into Avare's mummified head an indeterminate amount of time before Tam-Tara-HM occurred.I kinda want to go search for the (extremely) old conversations about Edda when Tam Tara Hard came out...but I'm no necromancer

But as for where she got the ability... is still unclear. Either way, I'm sure we'll eventually find that out in the Palace of the Dead (or in the upcoming Lorebook too for that matter).![]()
