Lancer > Maurader input

i have a lancer that is lvl 39 and i am trying to get to make an maurader so i can get it to lvl 15 but i did finish the lvl 30 quest for the lancer which was to defeat the rouge lancer and he fall and then i turned that in

then i went to the maruader guild to make a sub class and i get this which i can not do any thing speaking to wyrnzoen and i get this prompt

how can i do this and i need detail and not some few words and do this and that like i been googling for a few hours how to do this cause all i am getting is like go to lvl 30 and this and that
but i am not getting any input how to make a sub class maurader so i can get it to lvl 15 so i can aquire the dragon
or do i need to make another class where i made my lancer in the characters page ?

btw i need an idoits guide to this like you get books an idoits guide to whatever

Naw, all you have to do is just equip the lv 1 maurauder axe and speak to the npc again.

Yeah - literal step-by-step. (Controller directions)

1. Click the Character drop-down context menu (open menu, go to Character tab)
2. Click on the "Armoury Chest" option (scroll to the Armoury Chest option and press X)
3. In the Weapons Tab, find your Weathered Axe and open the Sub-Commands with right click. (Square on controller)
4. Press "Equip." Your Class should now change to Marauder, and the quest should be unlocked for you.
5. Talk to him again!
6. Level to 15!
7. ???
8. Profit.

where and which npc and i did look in the ab = auction board and found one but said i cant equip it but not sure if it is the weathered axe and if it was then idk why it is over 12k and that is ridiculous price

i meant to find one to get the lvl 1 item and i do not have it in my inventory unless i sold it and
btw im new to this vs other games i played and i know its different from other games

I should've specify it more. Anyway the weather axe is a level 1 axe that you need to equip. If it's any other axe that is above level 1 you can't change to MRD because your MRD has to start at level 1 and doesn't have sufficient leave to equip above level 1 axe.

All of the Weathered weapons can be bought cheaply in the cities respective to the homes of each guild. So to buy the Weathered Marauder's Axe, you'd need to find the Weapon's merchant on the Lower Levels in Limsa in the markets, along Hawker's Alley and in the last section of stalls before the Arcanist's Guild as I recall.

In order to begin life as a Marauder as a secondary job, the first step is to accept a quest from Blauthota in the Coral Tower. Secondary jobs typically have you talk with the Guild Receptionist, who gives you a spiel about the great history of the Guild. After that they ask if you want to join up. When you say yes, you get to go speak to Wyrnzoen and receive the Weathered War Axe. Equip the axe (which typically leaves you in your underclothes), finish the quest and then begin the typical guild quests.

The above people have it pretty well covered. If you accidently sold the axe, the weapon merchant in town should have a replacement for less then 100 gil. If you didnt accept the offer from the guild receptionist to get the axe in the first place, start there. But from the error message you shared, it sounds like you did finish with the receptionist but moved on and sold the axe without realizing it. No big deal, easy to fix.

There are some people who try to use the market board to profit on other peoples lack of in-game knowledge. Thats why you might have seen the level 1 axe(or something similar) for more then 100 times what the merchant sells it for. Those people suck, but dont let them ruin the game for you.
