i done so many trials and let say 80% of my trials has either 2 or 3 BRDS. i know everyone been complaining about them but why there are still many of them? is BRD really popular among all the dps even if their dps isnt that good?

I think bard might be easiest dps job to perform at maximum efficiency, so bard players can still do consistently good dps by performing near the skill ceiling with relatively less effort than say a machinist or ninja. Maybe that's a reason. I haven't really noticed any dominant job on my data center, they all seem to be used a lot.
i barely see any BLM or MCH.. i thought about trying out BLM and MNK but seeing not many of them but BRD, its kinda make me concern if i should just roll on BRD seem its so popular.
Could just be confirmation bias. But, BRD is one of the more-fun classes to do trash packs with, since their AoE rotation is more interesting and dynamic to execute than most others, so you might see them more in dungeons or 24-mans for that reason.
Alternately, if someone is feeling lazy BRD lets them 'get away' with it more. You can keep your basic stuff going without using a lot of different buttons, so you get to feel like you're doing a passable job without putting in much effort. You'd actually be doing pretty badly, but it won't feel like it. A lot of BRD's damage losses happen silently and often simply aren't noticed by players who aren't very good.
I don't know, I think the opposite. These days, if I see a fellow Bard, I expect their DPS to be extremely low. In the post-Minuet world, the amount of effort needed to perform well skyrockets.I think bard might be easiest dps job to perform at maximum efficiency, so bard players can still do consistently good dps by performing near the skill ceiling with relatively less effort than say a machinist or ninja. Although since this is Trial Roulette we're talking about here, in which the majority of trials available caps players at Lv. 50 which happens to be before Minuet is a thing, then yeah, it becomes understandable why you see so many bards in there. Personally the amount of bards I've seen in Lv. 60 content has shrunk with each passing month.
You'll find many BRDs in trials, levelling, lvl 50 duty roulette, but not too many in lvl 60 and expert duty roulette.
I think MCH is the rarest job out there.
"BAAAAAARD!" - 2018
ehh idk about that lol, i been going with duo BRD for 60 and expert a lot lately, same thing with Alexander random ques lol, i tend to see atleast 2 BRD that ques together, it HAPPENED that i get 3-4 BRD and let me tell you those run didnt end up too well LOL!

Interesting...I'm seeing a LOT of Machinists since 3.2, whether it's old BRDs switching for raiding or more people finally trying it out after all the buffs I'm not sure.

I see a whole bunch of MCHs too, and they tend to be good at their job. As a MCH player myself I just notice them a lot when we have multiple in a group. There aren't really any jobs on chaos (EU) datacenter that are rarely seen. I guess you can call that a success for game balance. I suppose bards would be on the more popular end, as I see multiple bards per party more often than other jobs get stacked. Not uncommon to see multiple DRGs either.
I main Bard and will always main brd.
