Open Letter to the Devs and Yoshi P regarding the state of housing on Balmung-

At the moment the only way I can express how disgusted I am with this game and the housing situation on our server is:

"Yoshi P and the entire Development Team, You have FAILED this Server."

With Free Companies desperately looking to purchase a home, one would think that you would have learned from past failures. Sadly this is proven not the case as all the housing on our server was sold out within 20 mins of launch with many people being locked a massive queue.

Added to it,within moments of the housing being sold out there are people in the party finder listing multiple houses at inflated prices. They are openly flaunting that they purchased them expressly for the purpose of reselling them without fear of being banned.

Is it so difficult to address this?

So I ask this:
"What are you going to do about this situation?"
"Will you continue to ignore it?"
"And will you continue to allow people to flagrantly flaunt an offense you state is ban worthy?"

Rare/Ex, the FC, is currently bragging about buying up roughly 200 of the new plots in most zones to antagonize players that were not fortunate to grab one.

I openly agree with your disappointment about this topic. It is a utter shame for SE that such things happen and that they obviously do nothing about it. I can't name such a thing on Excalibur but at least we have the same problem about plots as you do.

But bragging openly about buying plot up just to resell them for more or just to disappoint the community and fair players is just not right. So I as well ask you, SE: "What will you do about this?"

I can only echo what has been said. The whole thing is a complete shambles and the idea that people have gone and purchased plots just to resell stinks.

Really hope something is done to rectify this complete mess, especially since it's well known that there are unscrupulous players who are just being nothing but greedy.

I will add, that it would serve such people right, those who brought multiple plots so they can resell them, that they have the plots taken and no refund given.

I agree that this is an absolutely disgusting practice and something needs to be done. Buying up as many houses as you can at 4mil a piece, then selling them for 50-75mil each is appalling. I know that there are many on the server reporting these people as they advertise their scalping and I truly hope that these reports are taken seriously and something is done about it. Because what happened today is the kind of thing that demands action be taken. For all of Square's efforts to combat RMT, I would think this would be a great time to send a message...

To be perfectly honest I am little more than dishearted by the whole thing. After my FC have done their best through events and shaving and every one of them working hard for us to make the money to get a house we were unable to. With some people snapping up to or three personal houses and the masses buying more than one in order to resell. I really hope something is done about it my trust in the community as a whole is shot.

I got gated and had to wait for two thousand something people to log in before I get in. This ONE MINUTE after the server was online. I didn't even have the chance to get a house. It was denied to me. They should of waited one hour after it went up. SE needs to give the entire server free apartments when they come out, and they better have an outdoor space too! Im furious.

Same thing happened to me also. I was kicked off the lobby server 3 times before finally got passed it and by that time, was 1.6k in que. By time I got in, Goblet was the last area to be cleaned out and just as I got in. Looked at PF and found 3 people from the same FC trying to sell small plots for 50-75mil which just made me more furious with moment. I agree with you, they should maybe wait an hour after an update to open the plots. Or even better, I think every patch they should at least add a new ward, one or two, but every update there should be wards added. Because now here we are, we'll be waiting forever before they add more housing again and very disappointing.
