At least trolls don't dress in ugly colour combinations and impinge on the artistic beauty of the game just to satisfy some latent desire to dress like a freaking exotic plant or some rainbow-coloured freaking rodeo clown.

SE put so much effort into instilling a sense of "Final Fantasy" into the game. In other words, they are trying to achieve a certain artistic continuity in the game.

Letting players mutilate the constituency of that aesthetic vision with ugly patches, badges, and symbols all up on their clothes is something that flies in the face of their agenda. Last time I checked a sense of final fantasy didnt involve all the in-game models being ruined by rainbow coloured guild patches and shit.

How can you not see this is a potential problem.

Well dont blame me if your reporting works and no one is left to dissent against this issue when it arises and you have to live with it because you never said anything while you had the chance.

I dont know why you expect me to buy and make all gear for the entire server in order to solve a problem that never should exist in the first place. Why does the responsibility lie with the player to fix all gear for the entire server?

And in a years time you will reflect and think, if only people had said "yeah i agree with OP. this could potentially be bad if done in such and such a way".
