I'm a level 41 paladin looking for other ps4 players to play and voice chat with. If anybody knows of any ps4 only free companies please let me know. I'm on Jenova. Any feed back would be much appreciated.

If you haven't already, I would recommend getting a cheap USB keyboard for communication with the general community. I use a wireless logitech kb myself, it cost only me about $20 USD.

I can second this. That keyboard will be a lifesaver and as someone who uses PS4, it's made me able to help a lot more than I would've been able to and get help when I needed it.

How is the keyboard so much better? I've never gamed on a computer before so I know none of the differences. The controller is easy enough to use but communication is tougher than expected.

I suspect communication is what is being referenced. For actually controlling your character's movement and skills, gamepad versus keyboard and mouse is personal preference. But when it comes to actually talking to humans, being able to type without using some sort of on-screen keyboard or whatever certainly sounds easier.

I mean, if youre used to it a keyboard gives you a lot more buttons at your fingertips to potentially have keyed to commands and abilities. But yeah, what Eve said - its a matter of preference. You will tend to play better with the control scheme youre more comfortable with. But even if you find(or start!) an all PS4 FC, you will still sometimes have to interact with outsiders. Communication would be greatly eased in these situations by a cheap keyboard. Easier to ask for help when you need it, easier to answer someone elses questions when they ask. This is almost certainly what TSLsmokey meant.

Well i also use a wireless keyboard with my PS4 as i do not use a mic to chat, our FC does use discord however to chat, all you need is a computer.

PS4 player also. Like was stated earlier, I use a keyboard for in game chat boxes (by the time I typed something on controller, whatever I needed to say no longer seemed valid). My FC uses discord as well, which I have on my cell phone. So far has worked great for me.

Discord also has a smart phone app that connects across all platforms.
Since My computer is in a different room than my ps4, i Just gotta plug my ear piece/Mic into my phone and im good to go.

And a wireless keyboard is a life saver. I feel silly for not picking one up sooner than I did. And its pretty much plug and play.

Oh i was aware of the phone App, but just got myself a nice laptop so may as well use it, lol
The PC app is rather nice.
I have like a 5 ft cord for my headset
