We Need Beast Master Job in FF14 ARR

I play ffxi and ffxiv i like both bst for ffxi, i even play wow to be honest wow was my gateway mmo. first off they nothing wrong want pet Job. I believe ffxiv is ffxiv isn't wow nor is it ffxi, it nether need to be wow like it need be ffxiv. ffxiv i like see pet jobs yes if they add bst it would fun. look ffxiv dev did a good job on chocobo, they can work on ffxiv summoner. look i nether wish see people to leave ffxiv. to be honest many people that play ffxi also play wow it seem.

I truly want dnc 1st dnc was my main job in ffxi and I rocked on it. Dnc is better then any pet job Imo. I could solo almost anything on it. So while we are talking about solo jobs please please se bring back dnc.

You made a good point about the chocobo companion system. They have something like a skill tree and a point system this would be a good way to make the beast master pets for when they have to learn new abilitys/skills/attacks which ether you wanna call it but that could work.

I don't think the devs don't know how to make pet system it more about tried balance said system with the other jobs out there. throw pet into mix it hard enough create system that could balance between, the other jobs.

Honestly I can see puppeteer being less of a pet class, and being more of a range/melee switch type of class.

Control puppet makes your main body unable to move, and instead your movement keys, and skills switch to that of the puppet.

When not controlling the puppet you move your main body, and can do range damage.

I would love a bst job in ffxiv if they tweaked pet ui to be fluid and not so clunky and slow, and adjusted abilities so that a pet can actually regain aggro, survive more then 5 hits from instance mobs and if we had a decent heal that stood a chance of healing a pet substantially and quickly...(unlike now).

Ffxi "control" if their bst was just as bad as this games pet controls, BUT they kept hate like a trooper..no trouble there ,also transfer aggro on a dime even on the most difficult of mobs...and we could heal our pet significantly if need be ...instantly....repeatedly. I really enjoyed the job quite a bit tbh, one of my favorites

WoWs hunter pet control, the sheer fluidity and speed of it, ability to transfer hate, tanking ability of pets, and healing for them was done perfectly, se would be wise to learn from that as well.

At any rate ..bst could potentially be a wonderful addition if designed properly, would also love to see something similar to a blu.

Whether they copy certain aspects from other games or not is irrelevant, it could be anything and everything of their own dsesign...just please for the love of the twelve, do it right...errrrr!! Oo

I believe any pet Job must be not basic being full player control but harmony of pet and Job fight together. the Ai for the chocobo is pretty well made,

when a trainer and tiger are work in circle they work as one act together they are show off they skills.

One reason i love bst job and pets job it allow person have a tiger in a video game i think this best place for animal like tigers or panther it allow animal that gone to be brought back into that fantasy world. I believe best place for for own a tiger is in fantasy video games, no place else

Puppetmaster was one of the most fun jobs in FFXI. I agree it'd be fun to see how they'd implement it here. Especially if they keep the micromanaging of the puppet's attachments.
