Weird issues?

Not exactly sure what the problem might be, but I've noticed over the past few days that I've been getting "lag?" is the best way I can explain it. I Never get disconnected, but a good example would be, when I'm fishing the line will bob and I hit the reel button...and then 2 seconds later my character command sinks in and he reels the fish in. Other than this things don't seem SO bad, though I have also seen a few lag spikes where people will stop for a second, then quickly rush across the screen. Help?
