Original Fat Chocobo planned for Australian Accounts?

Hello again!

I have a concern about the Original Fat Chocobo. The south east Asia and Oceania regions have a long history of being neglected when it comes to hand outs and bonus items (in game and merchandise). Furthermore, as someone with a Eu and other regions account, living in Japan for work purposes, I am even further concerned that even should something be available that I will miss out.

I am an avid minion and mount collector (168 minions and 43 mounts) and would be utterly devastated if this ends up becoming some region locked item, forever unobtainable

Do the reps have any further information on how this information will be made available in other regions?

'Original Fat Chocobo'? The original one was available to Aussie members as it was a bonus item gained for purchasing the Collector's Edition of ARR (specifically the PS4 version, but even existing players who had the CE for the PC and PS3 versions were given the mount automatically, even if you had the 1.0 Collector's Edition you got the mount). And Australian players definitely gained it - I'm Australian too and I definitely have that mount.

Unless you mean that white one that was offered with that Seven-Eleven cross promotion in Japan recently, in which case SE have already said that they will be bringing those items to both NA and EU regions - 'EU' is a misnomer that really means 'UK/Europe/Australia/rest of world'. Either way, just have patience.

The white chocobo fromt he 7-11 promo is called "Original Fat Chocobo".

And my biggest concern is that as someone who is stuck with an EU account, now living in Japan, I will get screwed over twice (once by being in japan when the promo was on but not being able to obtain a code from it... and twice in the unlikely event that they do something similar in AUS and I am still in Japan)... This is why region locked codes are BS

They did note at the Pax Panel that they are working to find a way to bring it to other parts of the gaming community. it's just a matter of them figuring out how they are going to do it. it was a promo in japan, and 7-11 is very big there. not so much in other parts of the world. be patient. I'm in NA and i want those outfits and the white fat chocobo. it's just going to take time.
