he is more a mechanic than a magical summoning job. so there is a much bigger distinction between summoner and a pupp. nec would be more something like "oh an other summoning job"

To clarify the bold statement in your post.

NEC is a pet job. SMN, PUP, and BST are all pet jobs. They may have the ability to summon pets, but I guarantee you that they all play differently from one another.
