In my opinion only people at lv50 or higher and over 100hours of playing the game are able to own max. 1 house in personal use! >_>

If we're going with that, then I believe we should only allow FC houses as that would increase the amount of people who get access to housing the most.A way to look at it is to compare someone who is in an FC that owns a house or is part of an FC that owns a house, to someone who is either in or not in an FC that does not own a house. There are people who do not have access to housing at all, that wish to take up the opportunity in patch 3.3.
They should be allowed to do so without having to compete with those that already have access to a house. If people weren't flipping houses it might be a different story. If SE put a stop to people flipping houses it might be a different story.
Sorry, OP, but I disagree. Until SE makes it so I can share my house with my alts, I'm not going to agree with limitations on house buying. It's stupid that none of my alts can use my house, but all of my husband's alts can.
And as a side note, this wouldn't help or change anything. I know far too many people who made alts for single person FC's and bought houses so they could have a personal house, before personal housing even came out. So FC's wouldn't truly get first shot at houses. Rather there would be a slew of single person FCs to go in and gobble up all the lots.

The part of the quote that you edited out:And as a side note, this wouldn't help or change anything. The system is broken, and the OP's suggested fix is just a poison ivy band-aid on a bullet would. The OP suggested a "fair" system for who can get houses, which coincidentally favored the OP. I suggested a "more fair" system, which didn't favor the OP, and shockingly, the OP had issues with it.
What you could do to get around this is privately give your current house to a trusted friend and they can simply give it back to you if you don't luck out and get a large. That won't get you into trouble since you're not trying to sell it to anyone via PF or whatnot. Even then, GMs only care if you're selling them for extremely inflated prices. Say you did get the large house and then offered the small up for exactly the same price as every other house. I doubt you'd have any issues.I wish they would have added the move feature with this patch as well. I currently have a small house that I managed to snag after the reclaimation started. However, I want a large house but will have to relinquish the small house I have now to gamble on trying to get a large house this patch. It does not make sense to add a move feature in later when all the houses are taken up already anyways.
What I may end up doing is giving the gil to an FC member who does not have the gil to purchase a house and have them buy the lot I relinquish it to hold on to it if I cannot snag a large house during the new patch. If I do get one, I will let the FC member keep it at no cost to them.
Again I just wish they would have added the move feature with the increase in housing so those that want to get a larger or different plot could do so.
I would love having access to my house with alts.
I hope they take a look into this. I think a week sounds reasonable. Or atleast have the houses account wide like some of the mounts. so your alts can use the house too.

All they really need to do is put a delay on for like 3 - 5 days on people who already own a house on their account so those who have no house at all actually have a fair chance.
I would agree with a delay if, and only if, they allow alts access to main's houses.
