Extra Classes

As I mentioned in my last post, I've just made it to level 50 and super happy about it. Now that I am level 50, do I have access to the Extra Classes that were released with Heavensward? The Extra Classes being Dark Knight, Machinist and Astrologian. And if I do have access to them now, where would I go to unlock them? I've never healed or tanked mainly because its too much responsibility for me but the Astrologian caught my eye with the way it uses cards to attack and heal, and the Dark Knight, well I played Final Fantasy 4 back in the day and liked Cecil so I figured I'd give that Class a try just because of that. Again, sorry for the wall of text, just super excited!

You need to finish the ARR story first, thus gaining access to Ishgard, before you can unlock the HW jobs.

as soon as you walk into ishgard during main scenario you have free roam to unlock the three whenever you want, theyre in ishgard though , so you have to be inside to even touch them.

Ohh darn, looks like I'm a ways off. I'm still doing my Story quests and one of them has me re-visiting an old dungeon I think. Thanks for the help guys!

Yes as others stated there is a bit to do from level 50 until ishgard but in my opinion dont overrush it just to get to the new jobs. Do pay attention to the story.. Buckle up, you are going for a ride
The story is well done with some cool cutscenes. Some missions can be repetitive but it worth it at the end. enjoy

I have a friend who made an alt and got to ishgard right as his sprout sign wore off(before the recent changes) I dont suggest going full kamikaze but where youre at, they dragged story a bit, youre close to the next parts of story where they stopped pushing so much filler and fetch questy stuff, so hang in there! Plus, i sort of wish i hadnt skipped so much story it gets pretty engaging soon enough so hang in there

yeah the fetch/filler Quests was starting to kill me but I'm pushing through :P
