yeah because all the raiders sell runs right?....i for one never sold a run ....and have been raiding since 2.0 , not even interested in selling runs....however i helped lot of recruits doing runs and friends in coil (to see the story and whatnot)

    generalizing is always BAD.

If you require a reward or incentive to do something, do you really enjoy doing it?

I feel like the problem is that SE listened to the complaints about Coil being too easy and/or cleared too quickly. They made Gordias more difficult in the worst of ways. Overtuned mechanics killed a lot of statics. They don't have the staff to make a midcore version of Alexander. Story mode is a joke and the story itself lacks compared to Coil. I personally don't raid anymore because AST was screwed for Gordias progression, and I just don't feel like catching up on A3S. The content wasn't too hard for me. I got tired of bashing my head against a wall with a subpar job at the time.

Alexander as a raid is not meaningful to me. I went in expecting something mythical and epic like Alexander in FFIX, to continue the scale of the Coil raids. I was sorely disappointed. All I wanted was a final fight with Dragonsong playing during the T13 equivalent, like Answers, but that's going into the Nidhogg trials instead. So...not much point for me to raid.

I personally think that 2 modes is fine, but i think the gap between them is way too wide atm. One is way too easy, and other is way too hard with not much incentive to plug 300 hours into the hard one. I think easy mode raiding is bad for MMOs, because after a week or two of hitting level 60 or a patch coming out. Theres literally nothing in the game you haven't done except some optional hard modes.

If SE's goal is to have people steamroll through the entire game, then move on to playing other stuff.... well they are succeeding right now.

The issue with raiding is not that we need level's of difficulty, but better rewards and motivation to complete the normal mode and still be willing to follow up the Savage mode with out being bored to death.

Unless they made this game have horizontal progression all of a sudden no piece of gear should ever be worth the trouble of something like A3S or something. Even if you could customize an i245 weapon, next cycle it's weak. Even if you could add special mods like -5% cooldowns or +5 enmity once that 250 piece or 270 piece comes it's worth nothing. Even if you made gear i280 and tome gear i240 your stuff will STILL be overwritten soon. If we take into account how the Devs make this game, gear will never ever be enough. If it can be overwritten, it's not good enough

Yeh if they put it in the DF it would be just wipe wipe wipe.

I'd like it if they made difficult content, but less punishing. Why not something that requires farming and time to pop? Why not farm items and fight these bosses as an FC in tiers? Where its still hard but not if one teeny tiny mistake you gotta start over...oh well, what do I know lol

At least with content like that you'd be able to do it with randoms...

I have no desire to engage in savage difficulty... the addition of Mythic difficulty in wow was just another reason to quit. Raiding is fine for those that like it, but I personally would prefer more non-raid based endgame content. I prefer solo and smaller scale/light group style of play. Making savage easier and then just adding yet another difficulty isn't going to incentivize me to do savage. I did the raid thing for nigh on a decade in other games and it's just not interesting to me anymore. A game that can provide me with things to do at max level that isn't raiding has the best chance of keeping my interest.

How many men am I involved with? Well that depends... do you mean men as in males? Or just midlanders?
