Saving glams to gearsets

As the title says, would this be possible? With new crafting and gathering gear coming in 3.4, I thought it would be nice to be able to assign glamours to gearsets instead of the armor itself. That way you would be able to give each class that use the same gear multiple looks instead of being tied down to what the base gear is set to.

What do you guys think?

That's what I (and quite a few others judging by the forum discussions at the time) were hoping the glamour system would be in the first place. I think SE going back and putting in the gearset or slot based version of glamour now after implementing the current item based version is pretty unlikely, but I'd be happy to be proved wrong on that. I agree with you that it would be a much better system (especially in a game like this where we can play multiple classes/jobs, and may want different looks between them, even while sharing gear between them).
