Thanks for the suggestion I might try that. I've been keeping a list of places that I like to exp and am not a fan of raptors, so anywhere else "unique" is well welcomed!

If you find yourself having to solo at those lvls I went from 39-40 at cedar wood doing behests in between killing kobolds. They are in the little alcoves that appear on the maps in the shapes of the letter U or C depending on the map. I later went to Iron Lake and killed the kobolds east of there that range 40-42 and went from 40-43 so far. After that I will most likely head to higher encampments and repeat. I know its not as good as a full party however, it is more viable than leves alone like I used to do. I averaged 15k every 30 mins and then a 6k spike from behest. The levels came fast with little downtime.

Yes go to the almaja or whatever they're called camp

The Amal'ja Camp not far from Broken Water is great EXP. The mobs chain like crazy and pop really really quick. Make sure you have enough healers.

So tonight we tried a few difrent camps that were suggested here. First we tried the Assassins/Venomtongues, which besides the links went well until the Venomtongues started casting shadowsear, so we moved to the camp east of Hatali(?) for Alama'jaa(I know spelling is terrible) Sadly, that didn't go well either just because they were 48-49 and yeah more THM mobs. (Although I'm sure I saw a good camp of them based before thier stronghold of 46's). Eventually to save time we moved to.. You guessed it Raptors, of course all the lowbie raptors were taken and we ended up trying to kill the 49 Raptors which we did... Very slowly and exp was pitiful. Eventually we moved to the lessers because a camp opened up and made decent XP albiet me and the GF having to leave as it was getting close to dinner time.

ixali camps, there are several good ones around treespeak with low to mid 40 mobs, and another one in treespeak with high 40s

much much easier kills them amalja


im sure alot of people are suggestinbg them only cuz its "uldah area" kills and people still dont know better for the most part on how to go somewhere else

Yeah, well issue was with anima, so I wanted to keep it close by. I will def. try your suggestions, as I wasn't ignoring them. Thanks again~

treespeak isnt that far
its about as far as running to hala from uldah

just hop a ship to grid and run to emerald moss, then its a short jog to tree from there

Having just got my ARc from 41 to 50 in two days, I'd say the best place is the young raptor camps around Iron Lake. If you've got a solid full party, round up the raptors using your chocobo and pull them into small groups (3 to 5 at a time) and have a MRD do warmonger then AOE the crap out of them. They should be good 'til about 45 when you're ready for the strongholds.
