I have hit a wall grinding up my 56 Bard. Is there specific dungeon that am able to grind for good exp. I have a Paladin sitting at 50 I will need to level as well..

I have tried fates but alot of times there isn't a grind party out there.

Is there a chocobo quest besides the one that gives you the ability of flight.

I have been away for 2 years and am playing catch up. Back in the day everyone ran AV for times..

If you're playing catch up for 2 years you shouldn't need to be grinding in the first place.The xp from story quests and side story quests will be enough to get you those levels you need.
My best advice is get your bard to lvl 60 first so your lvl 50 pld can take advantage of the bonus xp all the way to lvl 60.

Also unlock the new daily Beastmen quests for the Vath and Gundu in the Dravanian Forelands and Sea of Clouds respectively. These quests automatically adjust to your current level, and thus reward you exp in relation to your level accordingly, and are very good for levelling with.

Also keep following Heavensward's main scenario, as that rewards a ton of exp too, not to mention opening up sidequests to do as well (particularly, Moghome in the Churning Mists is a very good source of such quests, to the point you will learn to hate moogles because of it! ).

MSQs, challenge log, daily roulettes that you have unlocked, if you are at a certain point in the story run the lvl 55 dungeon for exp. Side quests will also help greatly if you haven't done them a lot should be unlocked now at lvl 56.

Are you following the MSQ? They buffed dungeon XP from the HW dungeons drastically awhile back. You should have The Aery unlocked at 55.

During all my lv ups from 50-60, All I did was mainly only daily HW hunts(all 15targets) and Vanu/Gnath tribe quests(3 each) o___o They give much EXP!

Leveling a DPS class could took a while, but its not that bad.

I suggest to do the following:
- New Beast Tribes (Gnath and Vanu) gives you alot of EXP within 30 minutes. The EXP reward is between 20% and 30% (depending on your current level).

- Hunting Licence could be a bit hard, but also a big EXP bonus. Do it with your chocobo and it should be done within 30 minutes or so. Or ask some high level friends to help you with high level enemies ^^. The total reward for all 3 licences are between 20% and 50% (depending on your current level).

- Duty Roulette Trial goes fast and has a descent EXP bonus (10% or so)

- Challenge Log is ok, but dont expect much. The EXP bonus wont increase with Level 50 or higher. That makes the bonus for any higher level a bit smaller.

- Heavensward-Dungeons are pretty nice, if you dont need to wait for 30 minutes. Every dungeon with your level will give you 30% of your total EXP for next level up. Especially from 59 to 60, you only need 3 runs through Gubal, which is awesome.


I dont suggest the following:
- FATEs are not worth it. It depends a lot of the current area and group. Its only recommended, if you have nothing else to do and/or need some crystals for your relic.

- Duty Roulette 50 and Leveling are also not recommended. You waste more time on those, trust me. Leveling is still recommended for leveling below 51. After that, you

- Side Quests. No. Just no. The reward is quite nothing. It gives you a small amount of EXP and its boring as hell.

I recommend you do the side+quests, those that you have outleveled should be left for a different class. At level 56, if I am correct the new Moogle questline will open-up. This questline wil be a test to how long you can keep your sanity. If you win, the new Moogle Beast Tribe quests that will be released in 3.3 will be very rewarding (according to Yoshida.)

The 50 roulette I can take it or leave but the levelling one does scale magnificently well with your level so its always worth doing even after 51, unless you're not recommending cause a lot of people hate to be scaled down to 16-30 and not be able to do anything.
