the game was short and whatever good qualities they had were ruined with Cloud's annoying angst.

from those two sentences alone I can tell you've not played it and you're basing Cloud on what you know from Advent Children because Cloud is not emo or whiney, does a whiney person say this? I've just destroyed your false claims with a single image.

And let's not forget how snarky and sarcastic he is throughout the entire game.

He means like the ff13 events. It would be nice. FFVII already has had the bike shown but the games not released yet so we can't say much on it. They cut and paste a lot of old ff enemies and such. Honestly I think FF Dysidia for PS4 will be a great way for an event to cover a mass portion of the main FF titles. Also Would rather the vet rewards would give both a male costume and female one. Vivi or Freya outfit would've been nicer then the Zidane clothes we got. Even Eiko and Garnet clothes. Lot of clothes that'd be nice in game though. Lady Ashe, Fran, Rinoa, Lulu, Aerith, Squall, Sypher, Bashe, Ciaus, Ultimecia, Vincent, Kefca costumes would be great.

If the bike or "a" bike is to be released, I think it'd need to be associated with the lore of the game in someway. As much as I would want Cloud's bike in the game, I am not quite sure how it'll fit in to the lore. Perhaps label it as a Magitek vehicle of some kind.

Which reminds me, do you think they'll introduce the bi-pedal Magitek Armor that Terra was riding in when you played the actual game? I love the Reaper unit, but I'd think I'd swoon head over heels for the one you sit in with the arms and all.

I've asked for this in quite a few mount threads I'd love it if they introduced it as a prototype version of the magitek armor or improved.

The bike was shown in the live letter a while back. However lot of things in FF are cut and paste from other games like some of the ff14 enemies. How would Yokai Watch or Dragon Quest have anything to do with FFXIV. Shantato came from another dimension so did Lightening the new FFXI quest came from the east.

Clouds very Emo. I remember lot of instances where he's extremely emo. Only thing is he's also just as much to push people away with his cockiness. The least and most emo he gets is with Aerith. He also gets really weird about how he was a kid stocking Tifa cause he hated her and wanted to be her. but your villain has mother issues who stayed a good son and wanted to destroy the planet lol. One of my least favorite games but have it added in my collection. Wish we'd honestly stop getting Final Fantasy 7 stuff. They did so much better on side games to it then the original. Hated Vincent's 4 monster movie forms in comparison to how they made him after.

Cloud trying to find out who he really is in the life stream and Aerith dying is two instances and is not "alot" and I think you really misinterpreted Cloud's intentions with Tifa because he did not hate her at all, I know VII's localization was bad but unless you're just mashing the circle button it's really not that hard to read between the lines.
Cloud's a goofy, sarcastic and snarky character, always has been, Kingdom Hearts and Advent Children really did not do him justice and this how people always see him now.
