Hints to apartment's locations ?

Recently my alt unlocked access to the 3 housing area, and I went on a little walk in each place to visit houses (I like to visit and get inspiration from nicely set houses).

And then I realized, all 3 housing area have a door/hallway somewhere with a path behind, that could really match as an entrance to apartments complex. So I think that apartments will not only be available in Ishgard, but in all 4 cities.

And to go further, if each ward has an independant complex, that will make a large amount of apartments :
12 wards x2(annexes) x4(cities) : 96 complex >> 49152 appartments !

Not sure about that last part though, since apartments are instanced housing (but then, why only 512 ?)

Why 'only' 512 in a single big house? Well they probably had to set the limit somewhere... and the suggests a somewhat technical limit (being a power of 2 can't be a coincidence...)

Maybe we'll find out more about location(s) in the Live Letter on the 22nd

The number makes sense as a limit of apartments in one "building" or whatever they'll call it, but it's still far from being "enough" to fix the housing crisis, unfortunately.

That's why i'm wondering if there will be one "building" per ward (so 24 per housing area : ward+annex) or only one per area ? This would make a huge difference

Putting the apartments in the 3 housing areas would really liven up the place.

I really hope appartments will be availlable in all housing areas, having the same "local design" as the houses, or at least something similar.
What would be awesome is to have sort of a balcony, allowing us to have a view on the entire area (like in Aion)

i hope the appartments are actually in the city and not in the housing wards. would give a feeling of actual living in the city

Many of us expected the new housing wards that came in 2.?? (subsequently called sub-wards) would have been accessed as a new area off these dead end roads. Maybe the new areas coming with 3.3 will use them to prevent the aetheryte lists becoming unusably long.

Yoshi-P mentioned the apartments in a live stream, earlier this month, stating:

Art designs for the upcoming apartments are complete, modeling has begun. The apartments have different designs for each of the 3 housing districts.

I'm assuming it's a building placed in each housing district, perhaps even every ward/subward.

I do wonder if the art designs is just for the exterior of the building, or if the apartments will look different from private chambers as well.
