What's the fastest way to get 12,000 Wolf Marks?

All I want is the PvP axe (Axe of the Fury). I don't know anything about PvP, but getting this axe is important to me.

I don't want to be a poor sport or ruin PvP for anyone else, I'm willing to try, I just don't know where to begin or what to do.

If it makes a difference, I'm on the Aether datacenter (Gilgamesh). My two classes in PvE are WAR (main) and MNK (alt), but I'm willing to prepare any other Job if it would be better or more efficient.

So far, I've managed to get invited to a pirate ship, belittled by a big Roegadyn NPC, witness a Retainer brag about their PvP skill before teleporting away, and /taunt'd by a passing Lalafell BLM.

Do 8v8 on WAR and learn to fell cleave. You might also get lucky and get a Fenrir Pup that you can sell.

4v4 solo would probably net you more queues and points but if you are inexperienced with PVP people will probably get upset with you if your team loses since the Season has started and people care about winning/keeping their ranks.

All I do is Seal Rock. And if you're lucky enough to have majority winning GC you won't realize your Wolf Mark is cap to 20k.

I almost spent all pvp i205 aiming, caster and healing vanity including MCH+WAR+SCH weapon and what I do is just Seal Rock.

In my opinion WAR is great for PvP even for inexperienced people if you feel comfortable to stay in melee range (I'm not saying it is a dumb or OP class).
I would suggest you to go Seal Rock expecially during the DR reset time and with E language only to try to get more queue.

Watch some vid of skilled Warriors acting in pvp, or if you seeeven an opponent good wAR try to understand what is he doing.
Most of all learn how to burst with your class, It is not my main and please correct me if I'm wrong but actually to burst as WAR I do:
Gather 5 stack (Maim + Storm's Eye at the end) > Berserk > Full Swing > Fell Cleve > Brutal swing > Infuriate > Fell Cleve > (Mercy Stroke) >Mythril Tempest > /pray

Also as melee I find useful the lock target to run behind squishy target while keep attacking and remember that Sprint won't kill your TP in pvp, so feel free to use it

Thanks for the insight! I've never even heard of Seal Rock or Frontline (sorry, been playing a while yet still feel like such a newbie, Eorzea is huge).

I thought I had to do 'Feast', the Arena thing, to get Wolf Marks. That scared me, because I've heard that Feast is really mean. Frontline seems to be giant maps where I can shrink into the background and pretend I know what's going on. That is such a relief.

Does gear matter, or can I just wear my normal PvE gear? Apparently it will let me queue wearing my normal stuff, I hope that's fine.

Hm, I found the quest and unlocked Frontlines, but am I doing something wrong? The Roulette didn't pop for almost 2 hours and didn't even have an 'Average Wait Time' number, and queuing for Seal Rock has been going 90+ minutes without a pop ('More than 30 minutes' — indeed).

Feast queue is promising average wait times of 5 minutes (4v4 Solo) and 10 minutes (8v8), but I'm reluctant to go into that because I don't want to ruin people's ratings or play experience.

NA/EU Region Frontline is pretty dead afaik... But JP Region always alive. Maybe Feast suits well for your data center if you want fast and easy to gain wolf mark.

Ah, that makes sense then, I guess I need a 'Plan B'. I'm somewhat crazy, but I don't think I'm quite up to doing a server transfer to the JP datacenter just for Wolf Marks. ^^
