Anyone else like the pre-heavensfall music in T9?

So I finally got the T9 music and I was wondering if it included the soundtrack known as "Tempest" because I really like it, it made T9 all the more enjoyable back then when I was wiping for weeks.

I was kinda bummed that it doesn't include it. Please SE, can you include this specific soundtrack?

I love FF music, this was my last music piece to get, just waiting for 3.3 now. Keep them coming SE!

I prefer the second part, when you hear the vocal part and the fight starts to get tough, that is when I get excited.

I always preferred Nobuo Uematsu's Tempest to Masayoshi Soken's Rise of the White Raven myself even in 1.0, but mostly that's just because I'm a big Uematsu fangirl (don't get me wrong though, Soken is still an amazing composer who has done some truly astounding work here in FFXIV in both 1.0 and ARR, but I'll always prefer Uematsu).

In fact, I suspect that Tempest had been planned all along originally to be 1.0's original 'final boss' theme back before Yoshi took over as producer and the game's storyline was altered slightly, such clues as the distorted samples of Susan Calloway's lyrics from Answers and the obvious musical cues to Uematsu's earlier 'final boss' themes like The Extreme and The Final Battle. But that's just my own theorizing with not a shred of actual proof to back it up, so take that with a grain of salt.

whaaa? Uematsu did Tempest?.. How did I miss that... Damn ur right.

I'm with you, though. I do like Soken and i'm in love with some of these FFXIV songs.. But Nobuo Uematsu \o/
