I don't think you understand what Bacent is trying to get through to you.
In order to make a minion that looks like your player character, they would need to create miniature versions of every single thing in the entire game that alters your character's appearance, which is easier said than done.

It doesn't matter how much it would cost to buy/change the minion, the process of making it would require too much time and effort which would significantly slow down the creation, implementation and testing of new content like dungeons and main story quests.
Using excuses like "but Y'shtola has one" is also very poor because she only has 2 outfits compared to the millions of combinations of gear items and hairstyles your player character can have.

To put it simply, if the cost to implement your suggestion is greater than the profit it will produce, it will either be disregarded or put on the back burner for future ideas.
At best, your idea is just wishful thinking.

Perhaps, if Square Enix were to throw a contest, maybe the grand prize winner will have a minion of themselves; the winner would have to be absolutely sure on what outfit do they want to put on their character while taking screenshots for reference purposes. Then when a new major patch comes - which gives the team plenty of time to make it - the minion would be sent to the player.

The idea came from one of the previous contest where the player's character gets to be featured in a main scenario cut scene. Who knows, it might work
