How about if there is a minion that is a copy of you! but wait there's more I know that people already would be hyped to have mini me(you) running around your charatcer following you as an independent. Independent why because an adventurer aka yourself is independent as it is in the game. I know people would also say "but how would they work around the glamour and sets of weapons" well for the glamour set it would be set to default as a player first begins then in later expansions they can just mini size the clothing on the mb or unique items list. Some gear in FFXIV is already recycled with a different color and 1 or 2 little tweeks plus the name of the glamour gear and level so I don't see this being a problem. For weapon its already been answered for example would be oninon knight it has mini weapon every 10 secs. All they have to do is grab your customized character tweek the size and facial expression plus a fixed emote and boom! New content to grind for.

Plus the y'shtola minion is a mini version of Y'shtola default setting in 2.0 to 3.0 I've seen that they already tried this so you not more

Do you know how much planning has to go into a minion? If it was a mini version of the character, there's many hair styles, face paint, skin colour, making smaller versions of all armour/weapons in the game for the minion to have....

It sounds like too much of a hassle for them to put into the game

but they already did it for the y'shtola minion from the npc plus I wouldn't call it a hassel it's litearlly copy and paste in a mini form from the character creation database

I don't think you fully know what goes into making the minions. Making one of an almost never changing NPC? Easy enough. Making one of an ever changing PC? That's take too much time for something a huge amount of the community wouldn't bother using.

I disagree with what it takes to make a minion as If a person would pay to have their minion changed for 5 us dollars on the mog station. It would be like a person is changing their character with a fantasia that will cost 10 us dollars see if SE would benefit from it. So the layout in other words would be for a large community to have their specialized minion it would be after a certain number of days have been subscribed by the user and this would resolve the issue with large demand

Also again this would benefit SE with the user paying to have their minion changed in appearence after he/she has already used a fantasia that cost $10 and to have their minion changed would be $5 in total would be $15 for a set per person and individual character so a person with many characters in other worlds would have to pay to get their extra minions added to their worlds for their other characters.

Well for glamour purposes with weapon it would have your main race with the main races gear you know level 1 starter gear (Body, arms, legs and feet) weapon would be main class

Perhaps, if Square Enix were to throw a contest, maybe the grand prize winner will have a minion of themselves; the winner would have to be absolutely sure on what outfit do they want to put on their character while taking screenshots for reference purposes. Then when a new major patch comes - which gives the team plenty of time to make it - the minion would be sent to the player.

The idea came from one of the previous contest where the player's character gets to be featured in a main scenario cut scene. Who knows, it might work
