See, I would try to help people, but any time you tell someone "you're playing wrong" they tell you to piss off.

I was in ARF for Mentor Roulette the other day as a SCH. Had a SMN and BLM as the DPS. The SMN s basically Ruin 3 spamming (not even using Dots) and the BLM was doing 2.0 rotation and using transpose as opposed to just using Fire 3/Blz 3 to switch (thus he spammed Blizzard until Transpose came back).

As a result, failed DPS checks on the first boss (the turrets that explode if not killed). When I told the SMN to use Dots, I got the curt reply "Don't tell me how to play my job" and the Tank told me to shut up and just focus on healing.

The BLM gave a similar response, when I asked where Enochian was (something along the lines of "2.0 rotation is easier and not a huge loss)

So no, I'm not being mean, people are just stubborn. Very rarely do people actually take your advice and say " thanks for the tips ". Even if you word it in the nicest way possible
