    IMO the most sensable way to go about this is change the way player's position is reported. That should help people with under 200ms lag. Every 3rd step position reporting really is annoying. The only way I could see for people in the 300ms range is actually adjust / design the fights now and in the future to allow for a 300ms delay and reaction time before exploding.

    Can we get a reply as to when this issue will be fixed? Bahy? Rikki, Enkrateia, this is our LS's 1xxxx'th run with this issue killing us as plume goes off and everyone is safe we have even frapsed this issue for you and nothing seems to spark a reply.

    My network delay is absolutely horrible too - makes the game unplayable.
    When I enter any of the 3 city-states (Gridania, for example), not only network lag increases, but graphics lag too. As a matter of fact, it is so intense, that my character sometimes disappears from the screen and the game sometimes freezes for 5-10 seconds, which is unbelievably annoying.

    I'm playing from Hungary, and I have a 5Mbps network connection, so that should not be the problem. It is not my hardware specs either, I have a four-core phenom2 CPU and a decent GPU too. I also tried lowering graphics settings, I even switched to a 1024x768 screen and lowest settings, and still the same issue - unplayable in Gridania, and quite laggy everywhere else too. Characters and NPCs download with an about 10-20 seconds delay, and fighting actions are also started with this delay
    - if anybody knows any solution, please tell me, because this lagg entirely kills the joy in this game :/

    I'm playing from Norway, and whenever i hang out with my US friends, there is a delay of 1 second. Lets say i run in front of the group and we do a chocoborace. On my screen i'm the first in front of the pack when in fact they tell me i'm 3rd, 4th or even 5th. When i fought Ifrit yesterday I died 4 times in a single fight as a MRD because of this delay problem. I were miles away from the eruption and lava, but i still got killed. Ifrit's animation had the same delay, so i pretty much have to predict what he does well over a second before something happens. Luckily we made it since i was the only one from a far away country, my other friends from US saved the day. It seems the sync of servers are way off.. i sense it everywhere and not just in the big fights. As someone said earlier, it is more noticeable when fighting Ifrit Ogre or Moogle since the actions you do pays more consequence. This is exactly the same problem i had when i played XI and it needs to get adressed ASAP. It could very well be a reason for alot of people leaving the game, and that makes me sad. I love the game SE made, iv'e been here since the very start of alpha and i still want to stay. But please adress this issue SE as "Very important".
