Non-Job DPS?

This is just something I have been wondering for a while. Using cross-class skills, is it possible to contribute to lvl 50 content without a job, just having your class and cross-class skills from other jobs? I know it wouldn't be ideal, but would it work at all?

I suppose it can be done but you really would be holding the team back i would think.
The keeping of certain cross class skills is not worth it at all over playing as the job instead.

I believe Pugilist could do it. You'd be missing Rockbreaker for aoe, but you'd gain Rouge's Death blossom. Also unlimited crit buff uptime with that archer skill.

You also lose Dragon Kick - very doubtful you can hold up.

When I get bored, I play LNC in endgame content. Did it a bunch at 50, still do it now at 60. You lose 4th hits, jumps, etc. It doesn't hold you back as much as you'd think. The only issue is there's not much good to take in exchange - Raging Strikes is about the extent of it.

Where my DRG can pull 1800+, my LNC can pull 1400-1500. It's a lot easier in 3.2 because all the gear works for both DRG and LNC.

Just don't bring LNC into Midas Savage and you will absolutely NOT be holding your team back, unless you suck at your Job/Class. I still regularly out-dps the majority of DF players in Midas normal, even on LNC. Ran into a PGL in A8N last week who beat the pants off the rest of the DPS, so meh.

Lv.50 cap wouldn't be so bad, but all the 3.0 skills are tied to your job at lv.60.

The burst would be pretty hot. Twenty seconds after you blow your load, though, you're going to feel nothing but shame and regret.

Just like real life.

Tried doing SSS at level 60 on my acn (i203 with sephy book.) I hit 1100 on the basic dummy. ._. Still less than my SCH. It is fun though. Access to double the normal skills and being unrestricted. Sometimes I do 50 trials (only) because of how faceroll they are.

Untraited Death Blossom is horrible (60 pot per target) and doesn't help you keep Greased Lightning up like Rockbreaker does.

25% Crit on LNC
26% Crit on DRG

No food, no potions for either, wearing identical gear.

One trial each since I don't feel like being accurate about crit rates and whatnot.

Yeah but losing out on dragon kick is an automatic dps reduction
