Honestly I only read this thread for the awesome looking pictures of the old 2 monsters. I didn't play many of those games (a few but didn't go too deep in them). I mostly played VIII, X, X-2, XII, etc...

Something more akin to Labyrinths final boss? All the curves and weaving? If so I admit I enjoy those more to.

Might be bit of a coincedence this time around because the last 2 throwback bosses weren't in their native areas but I like how Y'mir appears in a cave just like in VI and those Enchanted fan's iirc in V you first meet high up someplace where nothing but the sky underneath you is visible, devs been pretty good with small little details like that.

I wonder if Final Fantasy XV will give us new things come next expansion since this game loves to borrow enemy models. There's so many mechanical things from the trailers they can attach the allagan brand onto.
