Just thought I'd start a thread so people can discuss tips and tricks to getting this accomplishment.
I just got mine for Immortal Flames on Gyshal. Previously I have been saving up my leve allowances and only doing a few per day to ensure that I had 99 at the start of the Company Week. I luckily had saved the 3 stronghold quests plus 2 others for a total of 2,700 seals. I then proceeded to do roughly 20 r40 company leves per day for the entire week. I gained 4,880 seals through those leves for 7,580 in total.
General
¤ To get the accomplishment you need to get on the weekly total.
¤ To work out when the week begins and ends, talk to the supply mission NPC at the Company Hall. Pretend to deliver something and the menu will show a countdown for that supply. That is the hours left for that week's duty. I believe it resets at 3pm GMT?
¤ How much you need is subjective based on your a) server's population b) company population c) amount of users competing for accomplishment and d) those who have company quests they can use.
¤ A decent starting point is to get more than 4,000 seals (that is how much a person can earn from any of the Into The Dark quests)
¤ You may not get on the daily high score, but you can still possibly get on the weekly table if you gain enough cumulative marks (e.g a one time of 4,000 seals on quest compared to 800 seals a day over 7 days = 5,600)
Leve Tips
¤ When I did my leves there were 2 types (2 leves of each type) - Protection leves and mob killing
¤ With the mob killing, there will be a selection of 3 mobs to kill. You need 2 of each to complete the leve and gain 30 seals. You get a bonus 10 seals if you kill 4 of each. If any of your 3 counts are 2/2 or 3/2 you will only get 30 seals regardless of the counts of the other mobs. Once you get 3 lots of 4/2 you can run to safety and wait out the duration of the leve
¤ With the protection, having the objective NPC die will result in a failed leve. I am not sure what situation will end with only a 30 seal result (I presume it is if you finish the leve with low NPC health). However you can buff and heal the NPC, so use stoneskin and protect frequently and keep him at full hp and you will get 40 seals each time
¤ Do NOT afk for the end of the leve. If you miss the aetheryte node then you won't get your seals. You can talk to the Crystal/Gate and get the gil rewards but you won’t get the seals.
¤ Provided you can save up the 99 leve slots pre-week, the maximum seals you can earn through leves is (99 + 7*8 = 155 * 40 = 6,200). At 15 minutes per leve using up the max quota of leves will take 38 hours & 45 minutes which equates to about 5-6 hours of gameplay each day.
If you have quests, then using them in combination with leves may be enough, if not you may have to resort to Chocobo Escort and Supply Missions
Chocobo Escort
¤ Aoe-capable class is a MUST if you are soloing.
¤ Karakuls in Coerthas drop Gyshal Greens which are good for healing the chocobos (useful by-product if you farm for fleece), otherwise buy them from NPC or market wards
¤ A complete run with no baggage lost gives you a max of 50 seals, partial runs can net you from 30-40 (I think, its been a while)
¤ They take place every 15 minutes, but I am unsure as to whether that is every 15 clock minutes or 15 minutes from last start/finish time.
Supply Missions
¤ A partial list of cycle items is being gathered on the DoL forum Here
Future Tips
¤ It may be easier in the future to gain this accomplishment as after billing kicks in the influx of new players may slow and those people who still have quests will run out making it easier for those without to get the accomp
¤ There is supposed to be an improvement to supply missions in the future that will allow for bulk deliveries which means more time for farming items and doing leves.
