Question: Dismantle an Airship could lose their spareparts?

Just wondering at workshop, if you dismantle 1 of your airship, 4 parts (Hull, Rigging, Forecastle & Aftcastle) on this airship equipped, will they be destroyed?

No, you can use them to upgrade another ship or just store them for later. The only thing you can't do with used parts is put them on the MB.

Thanks for the answer, I might try to dismantle 1 of my FC airship from 4 airships into 3. So the 4th airship spareparts can be stored and use them another later time.

wouldnt it be easier to just put the low end parts on it instead of losing it and its rank altogether? or you planning on moving the fc house?

I also thought that putting low end parts on it, but I'll need to make another broncos to replace, and it seems the parts that equipped won't be lost, if this is true. No, I'm not planning to move FC house, its just that 3 airships are enough for me.

No the parts won't be lost, but the progress that airship has made will be. If you reassemble it later it'll have to start again at level 1 (and you'll need the Bronco parts then as only that can start an airship from level 1).

So yes if you're happy with losing that progress/having to spend time redoing later then you can of course dismantle.
