Completed all GC quests and unable to rank up to Second Serpet Lieutenant

Class/Level: 60 WHM

Area: New Gridiana, Twin Addler GC

Steps:
1. Gained and complete "Shadows Uncast" to achieve Chief Serpent.

2.Completed "Twin Addler hunting log rank 2", completed the Arum Vale, completed " Gilding the Bilous".

3. When I went to turn in I completed it, but I didn't get "Second Serpent Lieutenant". Now he just says I need to complete "Trials".

4. I've also completed " Like Civilized Men and Women" but he still won't say anything different.

5. I've also upgraded from ps3 to ps4 aswel as ARR to HW.not sure if that matters

Do you have enough Company Seals saved up as well? You need 9000 Serpent Seals to get the final promotion. Also, I know you mentioned you have completed the second rank Hunting Log for the Twin Adder, but is it really the GC Hunting Log or just your class log?

You'll be surprised just how many players get tricked by this - the Grand Company Hunting Log is a separate page in the Hunting Log selected by clicking the flag for your GC under the class icons - so many players mistake this for their class hunting log and think by completing the class's log it satisfies the GC promotion, when it does not.

Otherwise, I have no idea what the problem could be.

iirc the rank Second Serpet Lieutenant, highest available rank at the moment, requires Rank 3 GC Hunting Log to be completed, not only Rank 2.

That's actually not correct though - it only requires rank 2. I know this because I got my promotion to Second Serpent Lieutenant back in 2013 but never finished my rank 3 GC Hunting Log until recently (there were a couple of enemies I missed in Wanderer's Palace). So it definitely only requires Rank 2 of the GC Hunting Log not 3.
