Quick ventures are completely random. Most items and gear from ARR aside from Ironworks and Coil gear are possible, and a few relatively common things from HW like low-level crafting/gathering gear and mats are also in there. Also, a hunter will bring back the same pool of items as a miner or botanist or fisher, and a level 1 character the same items as a level 60 character. Quick ventures don't care what your retainer actually does. Having a sufficient ilevel or gathering rating will increase the chances of the "items most rare!" being brought back, but these items aren't particularly rare or valuable anymore, being mostly dyes and retainer fantasias and the like. The random junk you get besides the "items most rare" will often be more valuable at this stage of the game. (I should mention I guess that certain dyes from the quick venture rare item pool like metallic gold or jet black are still quite expensive, and Hi-Cordials, which cannot be bought or sold, can also occasionally be brought back from the rare item pool).

Also, there is no official lists for quick venture returns. It's always up to the playerbase to figure these kinds of things out.
