Relinquishing Land

Hello all! Just a quick question~

My boyfriend and I are interested in transferring to a different world, but we currently own a house. We would like to move soon, and I know if you let the time run out on your house, you will receive 80% of the purchase money back, but especially with the pause on relinquishing, we don't really want to wait that long. If we manually relinquish, do we still get the 80% back, or nothing?

If we get nothing back, would it be safe to relinquish the land to another player for a very small fee (~2mil, so no flip profit on our end), or would we be at a high risk of being banned?

Not only do you not get the 80% back if you relinquish the land manually, housing reclamation is on hold (and possibly won't be re-implemented), so you can't wait it out, either.

As far as selling the plot to another player, I wouldn't risk it. It really depends on the individual GMs, but some may ban or suspend you for engaging in "scam" activity.

Yikes, that is unfortunate, and puts us in a bit of a pickle. Ah well, I am sure we will be able to figure something out.
