Getting tired of waiting on DCs at the start of duties

Been getting a ton of DC's as well. And now that TI mention it, it is usually while sitting inside residential areas... Though I notice higher lag inside duties too (last night was nasty!)

Yes, since maintenance yesterday. I dc'd twice last night - once while rolling on items after the last boss of VA. My lag spikes were so bad it made the raid almost unplayable for me. I have had maybe 2 or 3 lag spikes total in the few months I've been back, with maybe 1 dc. Constant spikes and 2 dc's in one night is unheard of, for me anyway.

I personally have had the Residential Zone DCs for a very long time now. Just asking if other have experienced it as well, or if I'm alone in this so I know it's my connection/modem and not the game (even though error 90002 would imply a client side thing, just wondering if some kind of graphics/item overload may cause me to DC in residential zones)

I haven't personally noticed any increased dates of DC in residential areas, but I have been getting a lot of lag spikes and DC wandering around Idyllshire and when I enter trials. Major drag...

I personally haven't been getting many disconnects, but I can imagine why this is annoying. I think maybe a 10-15 timer, and if the person still hasn't connected take down the shield.

Anyway, anyone else notice this, or am I alone? It just seems something in the residential zones makes my game prone to DC'ing.

I know a few people who have had this issue, and each time they have to close their game and refresh their RAM/restart their computer. One of my friends had it so bad that his game would kick him because he couldn't load up the interior of medium or large houses. I wonder if the prep for all the new housing changes has made residential areas that much more load-intensive?

Sorta Off topic, Early days of WoW I was booted from the server during a Gnomeragen instance. Gave me the similar error of still logged in please wait. On another attempted log in I bumped and clicked another character in my list and it logged it right away. So logged back out and tried to go back to my main and got the logged in error. For fun, I logged back in on an alt and searched for my character. He was still online, and I could even send my main tells from my alt. Was actually kinda funny. That lasted for 3 hours before I logged for the night. Next day, my main was logged out and I could play again (think he was stuck on the instance server til it timed out.)

As for on topic, I think they should look into the DC issues, but removing the ring would harm new players that want to enjoy the story. Or maybe check to make sure a cutscene person is actually progressing though the cutscene (instead of it being on hold til they log back in) and if it's hung up, remove the ring then

People dropping within the first 15min should have at least a 2hr lockout from DF.... So sick of this
