Ideas for each primal to have unique mount.

Know this'll probably never get implemented, but always though the primal mounts should of been separate creatures, instead of just reskinned/colored versions of each other. Anywho, my ideas so far are

Ifrit = Drake with Ifrit's cracked heat texture and fire aura
Titan = Golem with Titan's yellow crag lines and earth aura
Garuda = Green Zu with wind buffet aura
Leviathan = Elbst with leviathan scales and splash steps wherever it runs
Ramuh = Thundercloud that has static lightning throughout/around it
Shiva = polar bear with texture to make it look like it's made of pure ice and an ice aura

Ravanna = Womoura with glowing blue/red patterns on its wings
Bismark = Either a mini bismark, or one of the glowing Sanuwa
Thordan = ?
Sephirot = one of the big adds that spawns during the fight

Bonus: King Mog = a palanquin like bomb mount, but suspended by a giant moogle hot air balloon. Or possibly just a giant moogle that flies you around, but holds your character precariously (by hand/foot/etc)

So what are your ideas for what each primals mounts could of been if they were all unique?

Yeah, this would've been great. Sadly, the ponies (and now pigeons) were a low-budget attempt to extend the life of Ex Primals, so it's not too surprising that we wound up with a bunch of palette swaps. Still the ideas above are cool.

For Thordan, how about those chess-piece robot knights from the Vault? That might be a good Thordan-themed mount.

For a titan mount, I completely agree.

I'd even go lalafel so I could ride on the shoulders of a giant rock man in a speedo as my mount.

The Thordan mount should have just been Thordan himself, you could ride piggyback for walking and have him gallop on all fours for running

In WoW, I used to joke that I'd take the Illidan mount if it dropped in black temple... I "called dibs" on it. Of course the Illidan mount would be me riding his shoulders piggyback style. Bonus is he'd be a flying mount. But it never dropped... ; ; I don't think it has dropped for anyone...

I don't like your Ifrit or Levi suggestion. We have a drake and elbst mount in game already, change those to something unique that is not already a mount species option. In terms of a mount I would like to see, Chimera is one. Cyclops would also be cool as an alternative to Goobue or perhaps Mirka. A scorpion mount would be nice as well just to name few options.

I like these ideas better than what we have, but I agree with Snugglebutt that the drake and elbst could be switched for something more unique. I do fear that the ship has sailed for Primal mounts, but I don't want to say never. >.>
