That weird feeling after a nerf

Wow I guess I missed the patch notes on this one.
That's really sad. The fight was fun. Challenges are fun to overcome. Wish they could just leave things as they were.

They did a lot of stealth nerfs a few patches ago that they didn't really go into detail about. There was a reddit thread about it at some point.

They even nerfed health and damage in a lot of leveling dungeons, including Sastasha normal...apparently baby's first dungeon was too hard? idk lol

They changed Typhon's mega sneeze move. It no longer knocks everyone out of the ring so no more auto fail for not doing a mechanic.

They did that, because the mechanic did work even worse then when it was implemented. They have a move that evens out the health between the 2 bosses. With the high dmg output today (even when synched) this mechanic is used often right after people get the imp buff. This results in a problem because the imp buffs runs out before you even get the chance to use the stacks on typhoon. This resulted in death even if you played the machanic correctly. Its kinda like the old EX-primals where you are always punished by instant death for too high damage output.

With all these nerf to trials and dungeons, what I don't understand is why is it so hard to follow instructions. I mean with the typhoon fight you only need 8 stacks which means 1 of the 4 dps can have zero stacks or die and its still doable.

It's.. like "yay" i don't have to lose 30min on this now, but.. newer players will never know the joy of the fight the way it originally was.

How was it terrible other than no way to reset the fight? It was a pretty cool fight that REQUIRED people to actually take a second to discuss a game plan to succeed. But again that's too much for people to do in gaming theses days.

You see though, this is why the dragon's neck nerf is so hilarious and/or saddening, because 90% of the playerbase can't even manage to follow the simple instructions of "stand in front of the boss then hit one button".

I've literally never had a pug group able to do this fight without cheesing the mechanic, and it makes me laugh every single time. I don't understand why so many DPS players are so oblivious even when you specifically tell them what to do.

I feel this way in Thornmarch EX. It amazes me how simple that trial is, but people are to dumb to listen to mechanics and do what they are told for a megar 15 minutes to get their clear, even on unsythed.

Almost as sad as people who give poorly worded instructions to a group and then blame the group for "ignoring them" because they're impossible to understand.
