Fretting over appearances...

I still haven't used my free fantasia, but I've been trying to decide what color to change my eyes to for months. Might change skin tone too.

I played around a bit with different races etc for a while, but this game can't really satisfy me (tee-hee). Even if I did manage to create an ok-looking toon, most gear looks just plain bad or dull.

So I decided that if I can't look good, I'll be a silly potato instead! And now I'm happy! #lalafellmasterrace

Yes I like changing looks from time to time. I find the Aesthetician system lacking variety and functionality though. Needs an option to change skin color and eye color. The reason for this is that many times you get different color on skin and eyes depending on the in-game lighting. It is really hard to guess how your character will look like in the in-game environments despite character selection screen having different backgrounds for this. Fantasia will still be useful to change race so one does not cancel the need for the other (despite ppl saying they let it like this for higher income from fantasia sells). Also I would like to see much more character customization. More faces, body features etc. But you know limitations.......

I haven't changed with a fantasia since I picked a different Highlander face back in 2.0
But I do use the Aesthetician to change my hair seeing as I get more bored with hairstyles then anything.

I'm one of those people who wants a bajillion hairstyles cause I feel its kinda the first thing you notice on someones character & the more hairstyles we have the more unique people look imo.

It's pretty long time I'm being male highlander until this year. For first time I spend money for fantasia to change into Roegadyn because sudden bored with highlander (Maybe because of the shared pose but I don't know). I'm surprised my Roegadyn is pretty good and I like current hairstyle and hair color I'm using now.

I always welcome more change on aesthetician.

I haven't bought a fantasia in a week! In all seriousness though, I really being a highlander and I love this hairstyle. It's like I have two hairstyles, I got a sporty ponytail or Lucia in a hat. I want Lucia's hair.

I change way too much... I used to change once a week but now I am trying to change once a month... Im pretty satisfied with my Lala but then I miss being tall sometimes :x

However, if this game was like other MMO's (one class per character) I would have made it a point to never re-use any race/gender combo. This character would be paladin, I would make a female roe warrior, a highlander male mnk, miqote male brd, au ra male nin, etc.

Certainly! I don't usually re-use race/gender combos in MMOs either. I try to make each character unique since I love coming up with backstories for them. Haha.

I've never changed my character since starting it, except the one mandatory time when it was converted from 1.0. Even then, I didn't change anything directly. I've gone through different hairstyles, but I still have both of the fantasia's I was given during my gameplay. I obsessively pored over my character creation in the first instance, so why would I change something I'm perfectly happy with?

I haven't changed my character's appearance much. Even when I change races (which I have a couple times), I keep a very similar appearance. But I'm fairly happy with the way my character looks. c:
