Pet Job suggest thread

I like start this thread for suggest for pets jobs

i would first suggest the beast master jobs as ether dps or tank job weilding a whip

her attack move would

tenderize soon it happen you pet goes in for the attack. the bst debuff why pet tank the mob or does damage. the debuff benfit the pet or possible it more a trigger effect cause pet attack moves cause debuff and buff the pet for trigger effect debuff

for example the Bst debuff would go into effect when pet attack
you buff you pet tiger he cause stun effect / or knock back attack.

TDOT= Tigger Damage over time.

let make example you got tiger
your attack strength for your tiger pet cause bleed dot

If BST will be implemented, and if as a tank, the idea of Pet would come purely as mitigations or cooldowns for buffing/debbuffing.
Pet would (or at least should) be passive in attack, since we already have attacking pets, and those come for DPS.

Thou i would hate to play tank using a whip.
Almost like hatin' playing tank using RDM light armor.

If BST would be dps, then whole idea of Pets would be too similar to SMN, so i highly doubt BST would ever use pets as pets we understand and currently know as summons.
There is no need for a swarm of pets on arena. I would rather BST to use pets as stances or visual effects for cooldowns they pop up.

I hate a bst use a whip on said mind i see the whip more use against one enemy. My view is the a bst and his pet are comrade in arms. So they would a like between the bst and his or her pet that make close to each. the people who bring beast master could be like native american. armor would look more like what native american wear.


I love to see bst as Job be more in way

focus work with one pet in Harmony, people felt the issue with summoner was it lack use of pet that well. bst is like tamer as circle even though they fairly abuse they animal at circle.

I think should the bst should more focus have traits and ability has pet do something to. as if the bst and pet fight as one. when make pet Job or Class one must look at best way make such jobs work. the pet shouldn't like what summoner is even the summoner be this need work. a pet jobs should a job where one who weild magic work with they pet in harmony that each action taken by Job ability have action on pet part too.

But implementing another pet class would be copying more-less summoner class. Until pet system would be used as i suggested.

that why i suggest a more complex system for bst then summoner where you ability and trait are more like trigger and pet is more like bullet.

each ability you use rely on your pet attack that cause debuff.

the summoner use something called dot damage over time. or dot, the beast master tdot, trigger damage over time is he or she is use debuff. for example your ability need you pet to attack cause a dot. take for example tendrice this would lead your enemy vunable to your pet ability to cause bleed effect which be dot.

let take the possible pets the blast, the panther and the tiger.
the blast has elemental breath attack when you as bst use one your ability it cause the blast to use it breath which cause a burn effect. the other thing about the blast it got really long tail so it ability called tail swipe which would a stun ablity. the tiger as in really life would look for most vulnerable spot and strike that cause bleed effect. the panther like strike for shadow use so it have hide like ninja and attack ability called pounce which allow come out of stealth with an attack moves.

also if whip isn't feel good the weild tomhawk and small sheild.
