drops in crystal tower raids

first time poster on forums so apologies if this has already been suggested and for poor spelling/grammar. I feel like the old crystal tower gear is just glamour items and for those who run it just for pieces and get frustrated due to belts dropping from chests to having bad luck on loot rolls I feel like a token system would help a lot. Something along the lines of getting a token per run that you can trade to a NPC for a specific piece that you've been wanting for weeks. even if its just trading in unidentified tomes/encrypted tomes for gear pieces from any of the 3 Crystal Tower raids. sorry again if this has been suggested in the past like I said above first time forum post thanks

It's been suggested a billion times but no dice. Learn to with it I guess.

Or they could make craftable versions of it like they did with the coil stuff. But if they did that with all the unique looking pieces, there'd be some seriously massive recipe bloat. Seriously, it's ridiculous how much stuff is in some of the masterbooks. I don't hate the idea though.

I remember vaguely that this was highly sought after around the time Wold of Darkness was still relevant for gearing. Some pieces we're arguably best in slot at the time (Bard chest, Healer hands). To be honest if they haven't done it already they are not going too. I assume their focus is on new content moving forward with the relic quest used to rejuvenate older content that's required for newer players to progress.

Instead of a token system, I'd at least put 1000 gil into the chests like in every other 24man raid and double the drops per chest for all the old 24man raids.

Oh, and then keep that system for all 24man raids in the future >_> You know...consistency.
