Botanists and stats conversion = you lose!

It's still an issue / inconsistency. Even if it's not the biggest issue, it's still a pretty big oversight that the other DoL and DoH jobs don't have this type of situation where the MH stat is in opposition to the OH stat in terms of traits.

Also not convinced that STR is only for the angle of approach.

And finally, since you can only attach STR materia to 1 slot as DoL, it's kind of silly to say that materia is the "solution" to the issue. Even if you can attatch something like STR / DEX or STR / VIT to legs, that still leaves you at a max of what, 30 +str with perfect IV materia? That makes the 15 STR from traits look significant to say the least. Even moreso before someone is able to attatch those super expensive materias to their gear and while leveling.

A Dev has posted which each Stat does for gathering, which I will post after I finish this. The gathering gear also provides a small amount of STR if you use the correct pieces should you chose to go the INT route for yield in terms of stat conversion.

Also, there is no MH/OH stat difference for DoLs. The physical stat helps the Approach phase and the mental stat deals with yield amount. This has been the big misconception of DoLs for a while now. Just have to understand the mechanics. Unfortunately, without a nice person doing the translations, we Non-Japanese speaking (Soon-to-be) paying customers would never know half this stuff.
