Interestingly, the NIN Quests and the HW BLM quests were the only quests that I know of involving the respective guilds. Would it be possible to to have the Job Storylines also involve the guilds on occasion. To remind us of our roots and such?

Many players have felt disappointed over Void Ark, and continue to return to The Crystal Tower for nostalgia.
In future expansions, will we be returning to our old Final Fantasy games more often?
~ Spoilers Galore ~
Final Fantasy has had a lot of deaths in the franchise. Aerith, General Leo, Tellah, Minwu, Josef, Anna. All were major characters to the story.
A Realm Reborn ended beautifully, and hit a new level of shock and awe that exceeded every Final Fantasy on the market. Then something disappointing happened: nothing. All the "dead" characters are alive, all the struggle is gone, and everyone's back to normal like nothing happened. It felt awful that we went through so many emotions and they meant nothing.
Even Minfillia isn't really dead. All the Scions are still alive, too.
Will we see a genuine twist to the story that doesn't backtrack like what happened in Heavensward? I was so disappointed to see amazing story be backstepped all the way like it never happened.
I really feel like we need new characters in our expansions to get to know. Estinien and Ysayle were beautifully done, but we need less of the old characters and more of the new ones.
Let's say you could only have one vacation:
deep sea diving,
or flying in outer space
Which one would you be most likely to explore first?

I hope the devs are listening. We need the devs to please listen.
Can you write back in the concept of Guest Characters / Companions? I would much rather delve into a quest arc where I develop affinity with a NPC Companion in the context of adventuring and battling as well as cut scenes. I felt gutted that we never got to fight alongside Ysale, and Estinien just kinda sat there in the Aery and let us do the work for him.
Gaius Van Baelsar was one of the more interesting vilain, he is charismatic and his motive is much more tangible for us to appreciated than many of the antagonist we got after his departure. While I don't dare to ask for Gaius back, there's enough cheap twist with characters death already, will we see a main vilain that we can invest into? Gaius departure feels too early too soon for such a major character.
Common sense is not so common anymore.
So while it seems like going forward, players will take up new jobs directly, without the need to start from level 1 as a base class, that still leaves all the original jobs and their storylines in the game, and even though I've already learned all they had to teach, I'm sure I'm not the only player to find myself wondering how my old friends in Eorzea's various guilds are up to these days, and wishing I could pay them a visit. It's been said before that it might be possible to see the class storylines continued at some point as sidequests, just for the story rather than anything to do with class/job progression. Are you personally interested in continuing these stories at all? How likely are we to see it happen, and when would it fit in to the development schedule if it does?
I'd especially like to fall back into the Lancer's story; I feel like it really jumped to a conclusion, and left some plot threads dangling. Could you give us the opportunity to catch up with some of the NPCs from that quest, maybe see what sort of trouble they've landed in this time?
Also, everyone needs more Hamon Holyfist in their life. His storyline was an absolute delight to play.

I think the general concensus here is that people (myself included) want more story with better payoff. That being said, is there any chance of the dev team making use of this icon? Lorequests would be a great addition to the game to help take some time away from the gear grind and delve deeper into the awesome world you've created.

DRK 30-50 quests are really well done. It had a "Fight Club" feel to it. Excellent job!
Regarding the main quests, I feel like we're being tunneled into being White Knights all the time (doing good things etc). Honestly, this is tiring and feels like we are just puppets for the Scions. We really have no choice but to agree.
Will there be alternate choices in quests, for example to choose the fate of certain events in the future?
This could be the really tough decisions in which there is no wrong or right, only what you feel should be done.
Garleans vs Ala Mhigo maybe. And we have to choose a side and stick with it to achieve a greater good.
This can in fact, branch out to another pvp setting.
Will we ever get to see Kal Myhk again in a new side quest or Anyx Trine dravanian daily quest storyline?
I miss our little dragon bro and his brother ;_;
