    So why not have 3 different LB gauges, one for each role? Would there need to be tweaks? Maybe for healer LB3, but tank LBs are either very lackluster or super niche.
    Tank and healer LB3s are almost always "damage control" abilities...something goes wrong and you use it to (try to) save the run. A4S (Healer LB3 is used for the Pentacle Sac strat) and A8S (Tank LB3 is used to make a mechanics-heavy phase easier to survive) both have starts that use one or the other to make the fight much more manageable.

    As far as non-raid content goes...the only fight that needed either synced was Ultima HM, for the last set of orbs. Healer LB3 and Tank LB3 were used the same in AAR as they are in HW...damage control (and the only place I remember that working consistently was on the Cloud of Darkness fight, if she ate too many clouds) Heck, in AAR there were only two fights for tank lb3 (T13 and Ultima HM) and I don't recall any where healer LB3 was used purposefully.

    But...damage control is their purpose (literally), either to mitigate before (tank) or after (healer) something goes wrong.


    As far as the suggestion goes, right now you need to choose between the three; fights will need to be adapted to allow for them. Harsher heal and tank checks, and more mechanics will be the norm (think, A6S unnerfed as a non-raid fight...hmm, actually, I bet unnerfed A6S would be fairly easy if you could use all three LB once you got Blaster down...)

    As it currently is I find the LB system entirely unfun. I definitely would like to see it changed in some way.

    Agreed, I do think the LB system should change. I really wish they would just nerf LB and give everyone their own LB bar like in pvp.

    Personally, I think that each TYPE of LB should have their own bar. A party wide bar for ranged, a party wide variety for melee, for casters, tanks, and healers. Perhaps they might need to get kerfed slightly, buy it would allow for more diverse strategies and theoretically harder fights.
